With the appeal and emphasis to buy new from a developer, many prospective purchasers tend to overlook buying a resale property even though it often represents better value for money. Also, the property has been through the 'process' once and second time around should be easier. Other advantages include:
- Location – earlier properties tend to be sited in the best locations.
- Development has usually been completed – no building noise or inconvenience.
- The area has ‘settled down’ and any teething problems should have been sorted out.
- Price - usually more attractive and sometimes negotiable due to circumstances.
- Properties usually come furnished and have other ‘sunk costs’ included e.g. air conditioning, ceiling fans etc.
The adminisistration and viewings are done through our Partner's office in San Javier and, if required, low cost mortgages can also be arranged. The same also applies to the legal side of things where experience and local knowledge of proceedings are so important.
