Optional Extras
Environment-friendly” concepts... By deciding to adopt bioclimatic architecture in the design and construction of your home, you are effectively increasing the energetic performance in the home to create more natural comfort. At the same time, this contributes towards actually reducing running costs.
- Central heating: Reduce your home’s contribution to CO2 emissions, while considerably reducing the cost of central heating! Under floor radiant heating is powered by solar panels with a low consuming compressor back up. In addition, the system automatically diverts excess heat towards heating the pool.
- Water conservation: To effectively eliminate sub-soil contamination caused by septic tanks, each home is already equipped with an independent "ecological plant”, installed underground for "waste-water treatment. This system produces odourless, transparent water which is stored in an underground 10,000 l. tank (or larger if required).
- In addition, roof gutters can be fitted to channel rain water to the same storage tank, ensuring abundant water (which is wasted in normal homes) for a greener, more ecological garden!
Other Optional Extras...
- Customised conservatory enhancements...
- A walk-in shower/wet room with mosaic floor tiles. Some models can incorporate a glass block shower-wall.
- Central heating: For a low cost installation, the system known as “Punto Azul” is recommendable. Consisting of oil filled electric powered radiators. Other options such as fuel oil or gas heated systems are positively old fashioned and expensive to run.
- French doors leading on to the front porch or patio area, adding more daylight to the room.
- Upgrade the log-burning fireplace to a large variety of designs.
- Remote control for the main entrance wrought iron sliding gate.
- Broadband Internet connection with a low cost IP telephone service available for immediate connection, providing low cost international calls.
- Swimming pools designed to meet the client’s specification, including solutions for a covered /heated pool, or an infinity edge.
